Dato’ Yaakob bin Hj. Mohammad, Chairman Aged 55, Malaysian. Non Independent Non-Executive Director. He was appointed to the Board as Chairman on 2 November 2001 and has been serving as a member in the Board's Nomination Committee. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) and Masters in Public Administration from the University of South California, USA in 1986. He is active in the Malaysian political scene. Furthermore, he has vast experience in treasury administration, human resources, and land development. He began his career in 1974 with the Department of Public Service Commission. During his distinguished career, he held various positions in government service, such as the Director of Education Ministry in Indonesia for the Malaysian Embassy, Deputy Director in the Department of Land & Mines for Wilayah Persekutuan and Assistant Commissioner in Public Service Department. His last position held was the Director of Transport Department (JPJ), Wilayah Persekutuan from 1988 until 1995 when he retired from government service. He was previously the Executive Secretary for UMNO Malaysia from 1987 to 1997. Currently, he is the Executive Secretary for Barisan Nasional since 1987. He attended all the four meetings held during the financial year. He has no direct or indirect shareholdings in the Group and does not have any family relationship with any director and/or major shareholder of the Group, nor any conflict of interest in any business arrangement involving the Company. He has had no convictions for any offences within the past 10 years, other than for traffic offences, if any.”
Tuan Hj Mohamad Sahfri bin Ab. Aziz, Aged 30, Malaysian. He was appointed as the Independent Non-Executive Director on 8 March 2004. He is a member of the Audit Committee, the Nomination and the Remuneration Committees. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in FIQH & TASHRI' (Perundangan Islam) from the University of Jordan, Amman. He also obtained a Diploma in Administration and Islamic Judiciary (DAIJ) from Universiti Islam Antarabangsa He began his career as an Islamic Religious teacher in 1998 and was appointed Timbalan Pendakwa Syarie Negeri Melaka in Jabatan Agama Islam Melaka (“JAIM”) in 1999. He subequently became the Ketua Penolong Pengarah Bahagian Pendakwaan JAIM. In November 2001, he was appointed the Pegawai Agama Daerah Melaka Tengah ( Pendaftar Nikah, Cerai & Rujuk). He now serves as the Penolong Pendaftar Hal-Ehwal Pelajar, Universiti Tenaga Nasional, Kampus Muadzam Shah. He plays an active role in the Malaysian political scene and hold various positions in UMNO - AJK Biro Agama Pergerakan Pemuda UMNO, AJK UMNO Bahagian Rompin, Pengerusi Tetap UMNO Cawangan Keratong Dua as well as Naib Ketua Pemuda UMNO Cawangan Keratong Dua . He attended three out of the four meetings held during the financial year. He has no direct or indirect shareholdings in the Company. Tuan Hj Mohamad Sahfri bin Ab. Kat atas tu, gambor 2 kroni UMNO yang membolot kontrak Lebuhraya Pantai Timur Fasa 2 melalui syarikat Kroni TSR Bina Sdn Bhd. Itu syarikat kecek, hok bapok lagi TSR Capital BHD, listed company. Latarbelakang tu pun di copy dari Laporan Tahunan TSRCap 2004 (TSR Annual Report, 2004) telah menyatakan dengan jelas, profail dua Ahli Lembaga Pengarah TSRCap adalah tokoh penting UMNO.
